Terms of service
Last updated 25 October 2026
- Focentra makes practice quizzes and revision notes from your own course material, using AI. It can make mistakes, so check anything important against your slides.
- Only upload material you're allowed to use, for your own revision.
- Credits never expire. Unused credits can be refunded within 14 days of buying them.
- If something fails to generate, your credits come back automatically.
1. Who we are
Focentra is run by Labibur Rah,an in the UK. You can contact us at Focentra1@outlook.com. By using Focentra you agree to these terms. Focentra isn't connected to, or endorsed by, any university.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 16. If you're under 18, please ask a parent or guardian before buying credits. Keep your login to yourself. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
3. What you upload
- Only upload material you have the right to use, such as your own course slides, notes and past papers, for your own revision.
- Don't upload other people's personal information, or anything confidential you don't have permission to share.
- You keep all rights to what you upload. You give us permission to process it only to make your quizzes and notes. Files are deleted as soon as they're read (see our privacy notice).
4. AI-made content
Quizzes, flashcards, notes and cheat sheets are written by AI from your material. They're designed to help you revise, but they can contain mistakes or miss things. Always check important points against your course material. We can't promise any particular grade or result.
5. Using it fairly
- Use Focentra to revise, not to cheat. Don't use it during a live assessment unless your university allows it.
- Don't try to get around the free-quiz limits, overload or attack the service, copy it with automated tools, or resell what it makes.
- You can share links to quizzes you've made, for example with your course mates.
If someone breaks these rules, we may limit or close their account.
6. Credits and payments
- Some features use credits. What each one costs is shown before you use it, and on the Buy credits page.
- Prices are in pounds and include any tax that applies. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card details.
- Credits don't expire, have no cash value, and can't be transferred to someone else.
- You get a few free credits when you sign up. Free credits can't be refunded.
7. Refunds
- Unused credits: if you change your mind, you can get a refund for credits you haven't used, within 14 days of buying them. Email Focentra1@outlook.com from your account's email address. We refund to the card you paid with, usually within 5–10 working days.
- Used credits: once credits have been used to make something, they can't be refunded. When you use credits you're asking us to provide digital content straight away, so the 14-day cancellation right ends for the credits you use.
- If something goes wrong: if a quiz or set of notes fails to generate, the credits are returned automatically. If what you get is faulty (for example, it's clearly not based on what you uploaded), email us and we'll put it right or return the credits.
- None of this affects your legal rights as a consumer.
8. Your account and your stuff
Free quizzes made without an account are deleted after 7 days. With an account, your quizzes and notes stay until you delete them or your account. You can ask us to delete your account at any time. Unused paid credits within 14 days of purchase can be refunded as above; other credits are lost when an account is deleted.
9. Our responsibility
We work hard to keep Focentra running and accurate, but it's provided as it is, and it may sometimes be unavailable. We aren't responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, or for exam results. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that can't be limited by law.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll tell you when you next log in. The date at the top shows the latest version.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
